Bahrain calls for stepping up free trade deal talks

MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday called for GCC-EU member states to fast-track the Free Trade Agreement. "Such a deal would send GCC-EU economic co-operation to new heights," Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Dr Essam Fakhro yesterday said.
He was speaking as he addressed the GCC-EU Forum and Exhibition in London. Dr Fakhro also addressed a campaign aimed at promoting Bahrain’s promising investment opportunities. The "Business Friendly Bahrain is being organised by the Economic Development Board.
