Ukraine can become production hub of Canada
Ukraine is very much interested in creating joint ventures with Canada on its territory and exporting their products to the EU.
Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"Ukraine can become a production hub of Canadian companies on the European continent. The Canada-Ukraine free trade agreement and the EU-Ukraine free trade agreement greenlight the production of goods and services on the territory of Ukraine and their deliveries both back to Canada and to the European Union," Mykolska said.
The Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine added that Canada, in turn, could become a sort of "North American hub" for Ukrainian businesses. "Ukrainian companies already enter the Canadian market, gain backing of local distributors and bring their goods to the entire North American market," she explained.
