This report discusses the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) being negotiated between the US and the EU. Both the US and the EU seek to increase market access through the elimination of barriers to trade and investment in goods, services, and agriculture, and enhance regulatory cooperation. The authors argue that Congress has a direct interest in the TTIP, hence, the 113th Congress may consider the renewal of Trade Promotion Authority for the TTIP.
