Free Trade Agreement To Be Signed Between Turkey And Georgia On Wednesday

TBILISI — A free trade agreement will be signed between Georgia and Turkey on Wednesday.

Under the Turkey-Georgia business forum that will be held on Wednesday, a free trade agreement and an agreement for the prevention of double taxation will be signed.

President Gul who will travel to Tbilisi on Tuesday will also attend the forum.

During his trip to Georgia, President Gul will hold bilateral and trilateral talks with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on economy, energy, transportation and regional problems.

The agreements to be signed will enable Georgia to import agricultural goods from Turkey and bring some conveniences to Turkish companies in their trade with Georgia.
