General Motors applauds successful U.S. - Oman Free Trade Agreement
General Motors, the world’s largest vehicle manufacturer, applauds the successful conclusion of negotiations to create a U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement.
This agreement will bolster the strong economic and trade relationships between the two countries.
Terry Johnsson, managing director of GM Middle East - Dubai regional office, said: ’General Motors has been operating in the Arab region since the 1920s. Over the years we have built excellent relationships with our retail partners and customers in Oman, amongst other markets. Our presence and commitment to the region is reflected in the success that our products continue to have in the Middle East.’
General Motors is a member of the U.S.-Oman FTA Coalition.
