Panama, Canada To Sign Free Trade Agreement
PANAMA — Panama’s Commerce and Industry Minister Roberto Henriquez said he will fly to Toronto, Canada, to sign on May 14 a free trade agreement.
Both countries completed late March in Spanish, English and French the treaty giving Canada immediate access to Panama’s markets and services while Panama’s access is tied to a deadline.
Panama currently runs free trade accords with Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Chile plus Taiwan and Singapore.
