EU scrutiny of GM food is not negotiable

Friends of the Earth Europe and 73 other NGOs have today written to the EU Commission to demand that genetically modified (GM) crops are not pushed onto Europe’s fields and plates as part of a trade deal with the USA and call for better protection of the environment and climate in the EU’s trade policy.
