Results of the fifth round of FTA negotiations between Korea and Colombia
1. The fifth round of the Korea-Colombia FTA negotiation was held in Seoul, Korea on 10-14 October, 2011.
2. During this round, the two countries engaged in intensive discussion on outstanding issues in the areas of trade in goods, trade remedies, intellectual property rights, investment, rules of origin, cooperation, and sanitary and phytosanitary measures.
3. The two countries focused on market access negotiations for goods, and agreed to exchange revised offers which reflects the result of this round of negotiation in November, this year.
4. Date and venue of next round of negotiations will be decided through diplomatic channel.
